| Day 1: Bangkok (-/-/-) Airport pick-up, transfer to hotel. Early afternoon half day Grand Palace and Emerald Buddha Tour. Return to hotel, free at leisure. Overnight Bangkok. Day 2: Bangkok / Kanchanaburi (B/L/D) Breakfast at the hotel. Depart for Kanchanaburi province, approx 130 Klms from Bangkok. Walk the Bridge over River Kwai, visit the POW war cemetery, take a train ride along part of the"Death Railway" to Nam Tok" station, the last existing train station on the Thailand-Burma railway in Thailand, passing the dangerous looking wooden viaduct built along the mountain. Thai lunch at Jungle View restaurant, transfer to your hotel and dinner. Overnight Kanchanaburi. Day 3: Kanchanaburi (B/L/-) Breakfast at the hotel. Breakfast at the hotel. Long tailed boat ride past two waterfalls, dip in the hot spring first discovered by the Japanese in 1943, next to Sai Yok waterfall. Lunch will be on the river. Visit (Wat Pha) Tiger Temple, where you can walk amoung the Tigers, Monks and watch the array of other animals. (Photos with the Tigers) Depart for Bangkok arriving around 18:30. Overnight Bangkok. Day 4: Bangkok - Ayutthaya ( B/L/-) Breakfast at the hotel. Travel through the countryside to north of Bangkok, Ayutthaya, the former Capital of Siam. Once the centre of the Kingdom. Today only the ruins of this magnificent city remain. Visit the Summer Palace of King Rama IV with its mixture of Thai, Chinese and Gothic Architecture, a well preserved "Monument" to a former historical period. Depart for Bangkok and transfer to your hotel. Enjoy an evening exploring the night markets. Overnight Bangkok. Day 5: Bangkok / Chiang Mai (B/-/D) Breakfast at the hotel. Hotel pick-up and transfer for flight to Chiangmai. Arrive in Chiangmai and transfer to your hotel, afternoon free at leisure. Prepare for an evening show and authentic Thai Kantoke dinner, explore the night Bazaar, return to your hotel. Overnight Chiang Mai. Day 6: Chiang Mai (B/L/-) Breakfast at the hotel. Meet your English-speaking guide in the hotel's lobby. Travel north of Chiang Mai route to Mae Taman Elephant Camp, which is 56 km northwards of Chiang Mai. Enjoy the spectacular scenery along the way. The idea of this trip is to see the demonstration of how trained elephants are used as working animals in teak forests includes elephant bathing in the river, working in the jungle, dragging and pushing logs, and responding commands. Then take a special time for riding an elephant for 1 hour through the jungle, make a stop at Lisu Hilltribe Village. The Lisu hilltribe people originated in Tibet and their villages are usually located in the mountains around 1000 meters.
For the truly adventurous! Continue with ox-cart riding back to the camp where lunch is served. After lunch, an experience trip by taking Bamboo Raft along Mae Taeng River for 45 minutes. Then, visit a Orchid Nursery to see a large collection of more than 50 different types of colorful exotic year-round-bloom orchids. After taking great pleasure at the Orchid Nursery, return to the hotel around 16:30. Overnight ChiangMai. Day 7: Chiang Mai (B/L/-) Breakfast at the hotel. Meet your English-speaking guide in the hotel's lobby. An early morning drive through scenery from Chiang Mai to Chiang Rai by road along picturesque scenic routes pass the several beautiful northern mountains and valleys via a Hot Spring at Mae Ka Chan district and visit to Rong Khun Temple (White’s Temple) It is designed by the famous national artist. The main temple building or U-Bosot is a distinctive white color and decorated with fragments of reflective glass and can be seen from afar. Painting and murals inside the temple are also very magnificent. Continue to archeological remains at Chiang Sean, original capital of the Lanna kingdom, which originated around 1328, visit the multitude of sites including ancient ruins of temples, stupas, and ancient city wall and moat. Lunch served at the local restaurant on the bank of Mae Khong River.
Afternoon visit the world famous Golden Triangle where the borders of three countries; Thailand, Laos, and Myanmar) are met. See the panoramic view of Mekong River, the Golden Buddha Statue beside the Mae Khong River.
Then visit the Opium Museum, a small museum with historical displays pertaining to opium culture include all the various implements used in the planting, harvest and all information about opium.
The trip continues to Mae Sai, the Thailand-Myanmar border and the northernmost point of Thailand. Enjoy shopping for local products from China and Myanmar. Return to the hotel early evening. Overnight ChiangMai. Day 8: Chiang Mai (B/-/-) Breakfast at the hotel. Meet your English-speaking guide in the hotel's lobby. Chiang Mai is quite simply, Thailand's major center for quality, handicraft. The artisans produce an extraordinary range of quality products, which are invariably the first choice among shoppers. This tour shows you how Chiang Mai craftsmen produce their crafts by hand from the first stage until the finish, and gives you an idea of what there is to buy and take home as souvenirs from Chiang Mai.
On this tour a visit is made to the handicraft center at San Kampaeng district. The highlight is to see the local people making the handicraft including Lacquerware, Silverware, Hand-woven Textiles by silk and hand-painted cotton, fine Teak Wood Carving, and Umbrellas or paper parasols which are hand-painted in a variety designs. Overnight ChiangMai. 
Day 9: Chiang Mai / Phuket (B/-/-) Breakfast at the hotel. Early morning flight to Phuket via Bangkok, transfer to your hotel in Patong Beach. Enjoy a half day orientation tour of Phuket township, return to hotel, time to relax or swim at the beach. Tonight visit the world famous Simon Cabaret Show including transfers. Overnight Phuket. Day 10: Phuket (B/L/-) Breakfast at the hotel. Hotel pick-up for a full day tour to beautiful Phi Phi Island, including air-conditioned cruise, snorkeling, Island walk, time for swimming and buffet lunch on Phi Phi Island, return to hotel around 16:30. Free at own leisure and dinner on own, meet in the hotel lobby at 19:00 and visit the local night markets. Overnight Phuket. Day 11: Phuket (B/L/-) Breakfast at the hotel. Hotel pick-up Depart by air con bus, destination Phang Nga Bay. Phang Nga Bay boat trip: relax in a longtail boat and admire Thailand's scenic mangroves : Tham Lod (limestone cave) and Khao Majoo (rock formation) Tour by Sea Canoe The best way to look closely in and around the amazing natural secrets of untouched limestone caves and hidden passageways. James Bond Island, Depart for Khao Ping Kan and Khao Tapoo to discover the famous movie location, where 'The Man with the Golden Gun' was filmed. A delicious Thai lunch awaits you in the floating fisherman village of Koh Panyee, as well as a chance to glimpse the fascinating life style of a fishing village built entirely on stilts over the water. Return to hotel around 16:30. Overnight Phuket. Day 12: Phuket / Bangkok (B/-/D) Breakfast at the hotel. Free at leisure. Transfer to the airport for your flight to Bangkok. Arrive at hotel, afternoon tour to MBK shopping centre Bangkok or local market, return to hotel for transfer and a dinner cruise. Return to your hotel around 21:00. Overnight Bangkok. Day 13: Bangkok (B/-/-) Breakfast at the hotel. Hotel pick-up and visit the fascinating Damnoensaduak floating market, located about 110 Kms from Bangkok.The Damnoen Saduak Floating Market is a very attractive place for tourists to see the old style and traditional way of selling and buying fruits, vegetables, from small boats. You will also see traditional Thai houses, the way they live, and travel by boats. Return to your hotel around midday. Prepare for your onward departure from Bangkok, Say Goodbye and reflect back on great memories. END OF SERVICES. |
